Meet our team of experienced dental professionals.
Dr. Scott Carico, DMD
Dr. Scott Carico joined the Cooper Dental Group July, 2012. He is a 1986 graduate from the University of Alabama where he was a member of the SI Omega Fraternity. While attending the University of Alabama, Dr. Carico became friends with our very own Dr. Steven Cooper who graduated from there in 1988. It was an easy decision for Dr. Cooper to bring his friend and colleague on with the Cooper Dental Group in 2012.
Dr. Carico has been transitioning from his private practice of 25 years in Miami to join his family who currently resides in Ormond Beach. We are fortunate to add his experience in the art of esthetic dentistry to our practice. Dr. Carico’s pursuit of excellence brings a whole new level of implantology, crown, bridge and beautiful quality restorations to the Cooper Dental Group.
Dr. Carico is a professional member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, Florida American Dental Association, East Coast District Dental Society, Greater Miami Dental Society (past president), Dade County Dental Research Clinic (past president & volunteer), Miami Dental Study Club (past president), and the South Florida Dentists in Pursuit of Excellence (study club).
"Dr. Carico’s focus at the Cooper Dental Group is on endodontics, restorative implants, esthetic fillings, veneers, crowns and bridge restoration."
Dr. Carico and his twelve year old son Sam now reside in Ormond Beach. They have a dog named Noodles. The activities they enjoy together are water sports, bike riding, going to the beach, camping and church.
